UI Designers - Origami Studio
Cookpad uses Origami Studio as our main prototyping tool. We are now hiring Origami experts and looking for people to help us build our Cookpad Origami system and continue to create great Origami prototypes. We have overwhelming support from our product teams, global community managers and founders. With the help of our senior engineers, we are building exciting tools to work with Origami. These enable us to create within minutes data prototypes that are unique to our test users. We have two roles open: Product Designer (full time) Origami System Builder (contract).
If this sounds exciting to you, read more about the role below and please apply via the link.
Cookpad is a tech company building a community platform that enables people to share recipe ideas and cooking tips. It’s a global platform used by on average around 100 million people every month across the world. Over 4 million recipes have been created by people in almost 70 countries.
And we’re only just getting started.
Our mission is to make everyday cooking fun. We want to make ‘everyday cooking fun’ because it’s a behaviour that has the potential to impact many parts of life: health, well-being, community, the environment and the economy. And the potential impact is huge because there are 7 billion people on the planet and everyone needs to eat.
Our heritage is unique: Cookpad was founded in Japan in 1997 and is a listed company in Tokyo. In the rest of the world we’re a start-up. We've set up our international HQ in the UK where we are building the global platform and working with our colleagues around the world.
Cookpad is growing at speed and we’re looking for exceptional people who make things happen. It takes a mix of creativity, ingenuity and crazy optimism to create solutions on the scale we're looking for.
It’s not for everyone. Because of our speed and growth, it can feel chaotic. It's an environment where creators and problem-solvers flourish. We challenge ourselves and each other because this is about something bigger than all of us. Expect talented, motivated, intense, and interesting colleagues.
It feels like a start-up with global ambition. We work in small, collaborative teams and in a creative, fast-paced environment. To check out what we've been up to recently, you can watch our Youtube videos, read the Cookpad Staff Blog or catch up with Cookpad news on Twitter.
